This saved game demonstrates some of the ideas in the Guide to Using Transport and other sections of this FAQ. It has several profitable train layouts, a high volume aircraft line, some long distance road vehicle routes, and a ship route transporting coal. There are also some example junctions including a roundabout, cloverleaf, and a "spaghetti junction". In the north corner of the map you'll find a city with a 20,000+ population.

The year is 2046, you have over half a billion dollars, and a profitable train network. Three coal mines near each other spit out 1000+ tons/month, making for a nice profit. Also has some "unique" train layouts, and several profitable boat and plane routes.

Metromegalopolis

In this scenario a large multi-city complex dominates the center. You'll have no trouble finding passengers and mail to transport! Around the edges are smaller towns and assorted industries. Be sure to take a close look at some of the city name.

ZIP Archive of the Semi-FAQ (Last updated: September 4, 2000)
Now you can download an archive of all the files in the Semi-FAQ for perusal offline at your leisure.
Instructions:
1. Make a directory to hold the HTML files. You can have this directory branch off your TT directory. For instance, if TT is stored in C:\GAMES\TT, you can store the Semi-FAQ in C:\GAMES\TT\FAQ.
2. Download the 130K tt-html.zip and unzip it in the directory you created.
3. [Optional -- only if you want to download the .GIF and .JPG graphics] You have to place the graphics in their own IMAGES directory for them to show up when you view the Semi-FAQ. For instance, if the FAQ is in C:\GAMES\TT\FAQ, the graphics need to be in C:\GAMES\TT\FAQ\IMAGES. Download the 284K tt-graph.zip and unzip it in the IMAGES directory.
4. Now when you want to view the FAQ, all you have to do is point your browser at the index.html file.

This is a working demo of the original version of TT. It is fully functional except that you can only play for 2 years of game time.
